Surfcamp Arara

Arara is a wonderful spot, with lovely people, great breakfast, and surf all around. I had a great time!

The staff were kind and really helpful when I asked about local buses and onward travel. The surf camp itself was great, with lovely, experienced, professional instructors and a fantastic breakfast. The hostel was clearly popular and mostly full, and renovations and expansions were underway during my stay. They handled facility issues as professionally as they could.

I was a total beginner and had never stood on a surfboard, but the instructors made trying it feel easy. They were encouraging, fun to learn from, and wanted everyone to enjoy themselves and do well in the waves. The people I met had such a good vibe, and the Saturday group dinner was a highlight. Breakfast was delicious too. More than anything, Surf Camp Arara felt like joining a family from the minute I arrived. The staff were warm, friendly, and always ready to help. I spent a week there, had one of the best experiences I can remember, and can’t wait to return. Great place to learn surfing or just meet welcoming people.

I’ve stayed at Arara surfcamp twice, and the second visit was even better. It’s right in central Pipa, near the beaches and other amenities, and the atmosphere is an easy mix of relaxed and social, so it’s simple to make friends. The staff are welcoming and helpful, and the surf teachers are both cheerful and professional. They helped me improve a lot, and our surf trip to Genipabu became a great memory. I definitely recommend staying here.
