Pousada Boutique Oratorio

The main drawback is the location: this inn isn't central, so having a car or relying on Uber is probably best. For us, that was actually a blessing, since downtown Tiradentes can get overwhelmingly busy and loud, especially during a festival or special event. We arrived in a downpour, and the carport by reception was a real help. We had managed to book the last available room during a music festival, so it wasn't cheap, but we were delighted with what we found. The room was very large, had every amenity we could want, and a spacious bathroom with a lovely shower and plenty of hot water, which isn't something you can take for granted in Tiradentes. The service was exceptionally kind. Breakfast service was amazing, and they happily made dishes like eggs, tapioca, and grilled cheese to our preferences. The beautifully decorated grounds and garden were a pleasure, and afternoon tea was tasty and warming too. They also have several wines and cachaças for sale. Truly excellent service throughout.
