Pousada da Bia

A beautiful place to stay, with a pool and really good facilities. It’s surrounded by nature, so it’s perfect for relaxing and tuning out the outside world. I’d gladly go back and highly recommend it!

My husband and I stayed at Pousada da Bia over Carnival, from Saturday to Tuesday, and had a good experience. The location is excellent, Juliana took great care of us, and breakfast was wonderful and generously served. The pousada has a good setup, though there are some things to improve. We were in room 10, which was quite small and hot, with little privacy because it faces the pool. Cleaning was only okay, and the bed linens had stains.

It’s in a great spot, quiet, and has its own parking. The employee was very polite and attentive, and the bed linen was super comfortable, though the beds are small. Breakfast was pretty basic but did the job. The pool isn’t heated, and the shower doesn’t work properly. The room’s shower has very weak pressure and the electricity isn’t stable. When I tried to plug in my toothbrush, the light wouldn’t come on.

The location is the only good thing. The pousada is in terrible condition: the room and bathroom were dirty, no water came out of the shower, the towels were old, and the bed linens were dingy. Another problem is that nobody is at reception after 8 p.m. I don’t recommend it.
