Pousada Vovô Chiquinho

The people working here were especially friendly, from the breakfast servers, including the man on our first day, to the gentleman on duty from 7 p.m. through early morning, who was so kind and helpful. The rooms were lovely and clean in an 18th-century building. It's right by the main square, with relaxing, well-kept gardens and a pool area.

We were able to walk everywhere from this place in the historic center, even at night. Our suite was small, but comfortable, with a lovely view, a good bed, and a good shower. It was also carefully cleaned. Breakfast had a nice variety of fruit, bread, cakes, and delicious pão de queijo. The service was great, and everyone was friendly and helpful with tips and information. They even helped us with road details before we arrived, and Cleiton kindly guided us over the phone.

The only slight drawback was parking, which could be tricky for larger cars or pickup trucks, but it didn't affect my positive impression. It was our first stay here, this November, and everything else met our expectations: cleanliness, service, breakfast, and value for money.

Even on weekends, when Tiradentes has music and busy bars, the rooms outside the main building are very quiet. The pousada is right in the heart of Tiradentes' historic center, with comfortable rooms, attentive service, and an excellent breakfast. It also has parking, a pool, and a sauna.
