Pouso Canto de Minas

The hosts were welcoming, polite, friendly, and attentive the whole time. We barely used the car during our stay, and they suggested a taxi driver named Flaviano. He was excellent, polite, helpful, always available, and fairly priced. Getting there was fairly easy, though there's a fork at the city entrance where GPS can get confused, especially the map in the booking app. Once inside town, Google Maps took us right there. We got lost at that fork, but the host quickly gave us clear directions. The last road is dirt with a few ruts, so you need to drive carefully. There is enclosed parking, and the place felt safe. Our room was simple but very clean and smelled fresh. The mattress was comfortable, so we slept well. The TV worked, though its screen had a small crack. Our bathroom seemed bigger than those in some other rooms. It was simple but everything worked, and the shower got nice and hot. Guests can use the kitchen, which was a plus. We kept our things in the fridge, and there was also a microwave. The area was always clean and smelled pleasant. The breakfast room has tables inside and seating in the corridor for anyone who'd rather eat outdoors. Breakfast is simple and homey, like coffee at grandma's house. We didn't use the pool, but the area is well set up, with a large pool, tables around it, a barbecue gourmet area, and a pergola that makes the space even nicer.

The owners, David and Cleisson, live there and were caring and attentive from arrival through departure. They made our weekend wonderful, and the price was very affordable. We've already booked another stay for August. We arrived very late after getting delayed, and the guys helped us the whole way. They assisted with our bags from the inn's large parking area to the room and suggested an iFood snack. David had been attentive and polite from the time I booked, even with the inn full. He also helped with Maria Fumaça tickets and sightseeing plans. It was our first visit to Tiradentes, and we stayed in two rooms. Both were spacious, comfortable, and smelled lovely. The balcony was beautiful, with sofas, tables, and even an exercise bike. We played cards looking out over the pool and green garden, with only the sounds of nature around us. The city center was just a five-minute drive away. Breakfast was impeccable, full of Minas Gerais treats. It's a peaceful place if that's what you're after. We loved the experience from beginning to end.

Breakfast was served with such care and a real taste of Minas Gerais by Gleisson, making the mornings a pleasure. We ate in a room overlooking the pool and big trees, with the garden around us, birds singing, and the Maria Fumaça whistle in the distance. The train is about a three-minute drive from the inn. David was courteous, professional, and always ready to help. He arranged our stay as well as our sightseeing outings. The inn itself is elegant, fantastic, and very well organized. Our room was wonderful, clean, and tidy. We could see birds and the sunset from the balcony, and the hammock was a lovely bonus. There's also a fully equipped kitchen, with a fridge, freezer, gas stove, and microwave, as well as the minibar in our room. It made it easy to feel at home. For a trip to Tiradentes, Pousada pouso canto de minas offers a warm, comfortable stay.

The only hard part about staying here was having to leave. Deivid and Glaisson gave us impeccable service, and when they say pet friendly, they really mean it. My little dog Nina was treated like a queen. When we went out sightseeing, the owner deividi offered to look after her for me. We had some lovely restful days in this quiet inn. The room had a beautiful balcony, a minibar, TV, and a lovely view of the garden. The bed smelled wonderful, as did the sheets, towels, and blanket, like fabric softener. The place is beautiful, surrounded by peaceful nature, and the architecture gives it an immediate feeling of home. The owners made us feel like part of one big family. I'd recommend it without hesitation ❤️
