Santíssimo Resort

The facilities are a real plus: there’s a heated pool, a good beach volleyball court, two tennis courts, and bow and arrow. The rooms and bathrooms are a good size, and the staff are friendly, though I found them short on helpfulness. Once I asked for food that had just been taken off the serving table and was told serving time was over, so I couldn’t have any. Another time I asked for beers from the buffet to be brought to the beach volleyball area and was told to collect them myself. Also, one bed was pushed against the wall by the curtain, so I had to move it to close the blackout curtain.

The clay tennis courts are very nice, and the location and amenities are terrific. But there was no English-language or international TV, and the only way to charge electronics was to unplug a lamp or another fixture. Housekeeping and grounds maintenance seemed not to consider that guests on vacation might not want to be woken at 6 AM by hammering outside the door. I'm still unsure whether I'd return. If I did, I'd try high season and hope things were running more smoothly.

I was really happy with my stay and with everyone at this resort hotel. What a wonderful place. I'd recommend visiting.

A lovely family vacation spot in Tiradentes, with a large property, very nice rooms, and an amazing breakfast.
