The pictures online gave a different impression from what we found. The shower was good and the bathroom clean, but breakfast was alarming, with flies on the buffet. We were very disappointed.

The location is wonderful, though it gets a bit noisy at night and again when the day starts. Some things around the inn need repairs: wooden steps and handrails are coming loose and could cause accidents. For the rate I paid, breakfast was a huge letdown. The portions were tiny, I had to keep asking for more, and there were very few choices. They should improve breakfast or reconsider the high nightly price, since the location seems to be the only thing that justifies the charge.

It’s very close to the waterfront dining area, and the hotel’s location has police circulating all the time. We heard live music nearby at night that went on until 1 a.m. There are some termites in the wood, which was a bit annoying, but it didn’t spoil the rest of an otherwise great stay in this comfortable, fantastic place.
