Leaving was tough, and it really felt like home. Oca Trancoso made our 8 days in the beautiful historic town unforgettable. The little chalet is full of charm and thoughtful details, and the team clearly puts a lot into making guests happy. Everyone, from morning through late night, was warm, helpful, and a wonderful host. Breakfast was outstanding, freshly prepared in the kitchen with a touch of Brasil. The place was very clean, with excellent housekeeping. You’re right off Quadrato, and it has the feel of a family run hotel. Thanks for the open heart hospitality. We’ll be back next year.

A really lovely inn, with a spacious, comfortable room. They had the room lit and cooled with the air conditioning on before we arrived, which was a nice welcome. Breakfast was excellent and made to order. The women in the kitchen were friendly and professional, and made the best tapioca we tried in Bahia.

There’s greenery all around, and the rustic room and bathroom decor is fantastic. It’s a lovely inn with great service, right beside the Quadrado.
