We stayed one night at Pousada Campestre and really enjoyed it. Maria Clara at reception was attentive and took great care of us. Breakfast was included and excellent: fruit, cassava, tapioca cake with condensed milk and coconut, savory snacks, and a toaster, plus tapioca and an omelet for each guest. Everything was spot on. Our room was for four and had a TV and a cozy balcony with a hammock and beanbag. The location was great, near Barraca do Zé Barbudo at Praia dos Nativos, and there’s parking out front. A really good stay in Trancoso, we recommend it.

The pousada’s facilities suited us perfectly, and the location was great. Everyone treated us very well. My only comment is about early check-in. There were lots of rooms available and ready, and we arrived an hour before check-in, but still had to wait even though our room was prepared. I understand the pousada has its rules, but it could consider letting guests in early in those circumstances.

Such a lovely pousada! It’s in a great location, the service is great, and everything is clean and nicely decorated. My wife and I really liked it. Highly recommend!
