Very good.

Our suite, "Canção da América", was quite spacious, and the inn is in a convenient spot in Três Pontas. They welcomed us with afternoon coffee, Minas cheese, and little biscuits. The breakfast was delicious, with lots of choices and scrambled eggs made to order, and the linens were excellent. The parking is across the street rather than at the inn, in a nearby enclosed and secure area. It's a beautiful historic mansion, very well cared for, and comfortable too.

The service was very friendly and everything was clean, but the old building made for a poor night's sleep. The doors wouldn't shut properly, and the courtyard restaurant was very noisy. We could also hear traffic and the person in the next room snoring. We chose not to stay a second night.

The waiters were polite and attentive, and apologized for the trouble and the crowds, but the place clearly couldn't handle how many people came that night. The evening felt badly planned from the start. Even though we'd booked a week ahead for the Valentine's Day dinner, our table hadn't been set aside. Instead, we were seated at a shared table for 20 with two couples we didn't know, so we had no privacy. We waited 1 hour and 40 minutes for the food, and both filet mignon dishes arrived lukewarm, almost cold. The room was also so dim it was hard to see our plates. The manager seemed unprepared and confused and couldn't offer a solution. For such an important occasion, I expected more care with the details and more respect for the customers. It was a disappointing experience.
