Praia das Toninhas is beautiful, the pousada is right on the sand, breakfast was good, and the staff were helpful and polite. My wife and I booked six days in the first week of December 2025, hoping for some quiet before the holiday season. Unfortunately, families from inland São Paulo rented most of the rooms and seemed to treat the place like a house just for themselves. There were signs asking for quiet after 10 p.m., but children and teenagers shouted loudly outside our doors at night and sat in the chairs in front of them. Staff didn't do enough to address it, and we were left without much peace or privacy. The place is otherwise great, but I'm not sure I'd return.

We went as two adults and two kids, and the rooms were a good size and cozy. It was our first time at Pousada Canto Sul Inn, but we'll be back soon. Since we arrived before check-in to go to Praia das Toninhas, they let us leave the car in the pousada's parking lot. There's also an outdoor bathroom where you can change if your room isn't ready yet. Breakfast was delicious and everything was well organized, with a wonderful view. The sand is just a few steps away. The host took the time to show us around and explain what we'd need to know during our stay. I loved sitting at the back of the pousada before heading to the beach, watching the sun come up. They told us renovations will start next month and continue until September. I'm sure it'll be even better afterward. For a place right on the sand, it's great value.

The pousada is beautiful, with clean, cozy spaces, really friendly staff, and a gate that opens straight onto the beach. But anyone hoping for some peace after the beach should know there's a beach club next door. Its parties start at 4 p.m. and go late, with deafening music. We were really disappointed. We wanted to relax and get some quiet as well as enjoy the beach, but with all that noise it was impossible. What makes it even stranger is that the pousada and event venue belong to the same owner. They should consider that people staying right by the sand may want peace and quiet, not ridiculously loud music blasting over our heads. The pousada had everything going for it, but unfortunately this ruined the whole stay.

The seaside setting is lovely, and the place is comfortable with a great breakfast. This was my second stay, after visiting once with family and once with my wife. I highly recommend it.

The staff were the best part, so polite and attentive. They also had beach kits, ice, coolers, beer, and soft drinks available at a good price. The room was comfortable, the breakfast very good, and the location is right on the sand. My stay exceeded expectations, and I’ll definitely return after the planned renovation.
