The quiet is what makes the chalet special: there’s no city noise, just birds and other sounds of nature. It’s simple, cozy, and peaceful, and Henrique is very friendly, attentive, and welcoming. You can walk to the center, or call an Uber if you’d rather not. The highway bus stop for beaches to the north is easy to get to as well. It’s handy to make breakfast and simple meals there. I first stayed at Chalé Damata in 2021 and have come back ever since. I’ll keep returning, and I recommend it to friends and family.

This is my second visit, and I recommend it, especially for couples. The accommodation is clean, very good, and has what you need for a peaceful stay. There are a few kitchen items missing, like a mug for boiling water, a microwave, and a small pressure cooker. The shower water flow was also a problem, stopping completely several times while I was bathing.

The kitchen is missing a few utensils, especially a pressure cooker, and I think that may get sorted out. Apart from that, it’s a very cozy place in a wonderful location.

A place close to nature, good for sleeping and getting some rest. There are quite a lot of stairs, so it may not be very accessible for people with disabilities. Still, it’s a good place to relax.
