Lusilei was so sweet and welcomed us warmly. The chalet was lovely and exceeded my expectations. We went with the kids, and they loved it. It's a nice, relaxing place for quiet nights. We'll be back soon 🫶

The staff were very friendly, but the apartment was awful. The beds were uncomfortable, there were mosquitoes everywhere and huge snails all over the place. It was moldy and far too stuffy, even with a fan. The beach nearby is Sapê, which is rough and has a steep drop-off. Given what I paid, it wasn't worth it. They didn't even provide toilet paper, which is basic. I've stayed in much better places for a lot less.

The location worked well, with Sapê beach just across the road. The housekeeper, her husband, and their son were kind and polite. We stayed in a suite, though, and the mold smell was awful. Bring allergy medicine if you book it, because the odor is really strong. The mattress was very hard and uncomfortable to me. The bathroom door is broken and accordion-style, scraping the floor and making noise when opened. That was a nuisance at night when one of us got up while the other was asleep.

The people working there were very attentive and helpful, and the chalet itself is a cute idea. But it was poorly executed, and we were disappointed by how little care the place seemed to get. We booked online because we wanted somewhere rustic and cozy to rest during the holiday, but the chalet felt extremely cramped and could fit four adults at most. Each bedroom has a double and a single bed, with two more beds in the living room. You have to bring your own bedding. The single bed in the bedroom should be removed, since the low roof means you can't keep it against the wall. We had to pull it into the middle of the room to avoid hitting our heads getting in and out. The bathroom was the best done room, small but comfortable. The kitchen had plenty of dishes, but no microwave, and the sink tap was so tiny it was barely usable for washing cutlery. The living room wasn't comfortable at all. Its beds had plastic mattresses, there was nowhere to lean back, and the TV only had Record and Record News. The stairs to the bedrooms were the worst part for me: the handrail was too low to hold, and the last step on the first flight was broken. I didn't dare step on it, so I had to jump. This place isn't suitable for elderly people, feels dangerous for children, and was especially hard for me as an obese person. The entrance is all mud. They could at least spread some gravel, since you have to open the gate by hand and it's impossible to leave with clean feet, especially after rain.
