A simple, peaceful place close to the beach. Just right if that’s what you’re looking for.

Ana, who owns the chalet, and her husband were wonderful and gave us really helpful tips about beaches that are good for kids. The place is very clean and has what you need to relax and make meals, with a spacious room, small kitchen, and bathroom. It’s quiet and well kept, without any luxury. There’s an outdoor shower, a parking space, and a peaceful square across the street. It’s about four blocks from the busy evening area at praia grande, where you’ll find shops, restaurants for all kinds of tastes, and the little train. The walk is easy if you don’t have mobility issues. We were a family of four, and the size and location worked well for us. I’d definitely come back. Thanks for the wonderful days in a region I didn’t know before and really grew to love.

Ana was so attentive, and Chalé da mata was just what my family needed. It’s a very simple place, but with kids we mainly needed somewhere to sleep and recharge for the next day. Everything was clean and well organized, and the outdoor shower was great. I’ll definitely come back.
