The key card controls the air conditioning, which was a small drawback on very hot days. I suggest taking the card off the keychain so you can keep the room cool. Otherwise, Village Enseada Hotel was a lovely, accessible place to stay right by the beach. The bar staff were attentive and even watched our belongings while we swam. The food was delicious and portions were generous. I’m looking forward to returning.

The rooms are a little small, but they’re nice and clean. The beach is right outside, so the location is perfect. Reception staff were really nice, though the restaurant staff could be friendlier. The food takes a long time and isn’t that good for the price.

The stretch of beach sand reserved for the hotel was great, and that’s the main thing that might justify the high price. The restaurant and bar were okay, but parking was a bad experience, the accommodations were only fair at best, and the staff seemed poorly trained and generally gave bad service. I probably won’t return because it costs an unfair amount for what you get. That’s my opinion based on my stay. I’d read good reviews beforehand, which may have been one of the main reasons I was disappointed.
