Jardim do Mar Chalés

I was bothered by the noise from renovations, which started early, and by having to carry all our bags up two flights of stairs without any help. I came alone with my son. The room and bathroom were also too small for us, with nowhere to put our luggage or hang wet clothes and towels. The pool is small, and although Booking said it was heated, it wasn’t. There’s no bathroom or covered area by the pool, and its bin wasn’t cleaned during the four days we were there. I saw older photos and feel it should go back to how it used to be. On the plus side, the room looked exactly like the photos, was neat, and everything was new. Reception service was very good. We chose this no-service stay because we wanted something affordable, knowing we’d have to bring our own things for the stay, personal hygiene, and cleaning. I’m sharing this so future guests know what to expect, and especially so the owner can improve and do better.

Sr. Ronaldo and his wife were so hospitable and friendly, and our family felt very welcome. It’s a fair price, and the space is clean, harmonious, and suitable for kids. My daughters loved the trampoline and toys. They’re simple, but kept them entertained while we were there. The pool and hot tub were a comfortable temperature thanks to solar heating, and hanging gardens, plants, and hammocks make the place feel especially cozy. I did miss having a microwave in the apartment, but the stove worked well and met our needs. I recommend it!

We were welcomed warmly, and the accommodations are well cared for, with lots of household utensils. We stayed in an apartment. Breakfast costs extra, but it’s easy enough to make your own in the room. If you want air conditioning, it costs 50 reais per day; there is a fan in the room. My family and I had a good stay and recommend it.

We arranged everything on WhatsApp, and the owners were attentive. The place is clean, airy, and comfortable, with a TV, Wi-Fi, and parking. It’s near the beach and shops, and the price is good.
