It's about a 5-minute walk to Itamambuca beach, and we had plenty of space in the duplex for five people. The balcony had a lovely nature view and comfortable hammocks. The bed was very comfortable, the sheets smelled fresh, and the kitchen was great. We used the stove, oven, and barbecue without any problems. The place was incredibly clean, with shiny floors, no dust, no sand underfoot, and no stale or strong smells. There was good ventilation, a nice fan, and air conditioning. I worked from home without any trouble on the 1GB internet. Maria greeted us with such extraordinary cheer that we quickly grew fond of her. Even my three-year-old daughter became close friends with her. Giovani was very friendly and polite, and knew Ubatuba in detail. He was basically our tour guide, with information about all the beaches and even the names of the kiosks. He was wonderful to us. It felt like a true inn, full of peace, with the owners Maria and Giovanni bringing the joy. Highly recommended!

We spent a wonderful week here and already miss it. The place was incredibly comfortable and cozy, and we felt at home. It's very close to the beach, surrounded by nature, with birds singing all day and the sound of the sea at night. Maria and Giovanni are special hosts and made us feel so welcome. Bobby and pitomba are the coolest pets, too. 😍

I first stayed at Mandacaru in 2017, and came back in 2023 to see the newly opened flats. It's a welcoming inn, and the hosts are very helpful and make you feel comfortable. Mandacaru is a good choice if you want to be near the beach but still have some privacy from the more touristy spots. I recommend it!

We stayed for a week, and both hosts were so warm and welcoming. Giovanni is an excellent host, always kind and attentive, checking whether we needed anything and offering recommendations. The inn has a rustic feel and is very close to the beach, just across the river. If the water is high, you'll have to swim a little, but it's nothing serious. Itamambuca beach is beautiful, with lots of other beaches nearby to explore. I'd definitely come back :)

The location is perfect, just a few meters from the sea, and the rooms were spotless with all the comforts. The hosts were incredibly kind and made us feel at home the whole time. It's the best place you could choose to rest and enjoy yourself. I'll definitely be back.
