I stayed for two nights and really liked how clean the kitchen and bathroom were. It’s a family hostel, so there aren’t parties or loud noises, which is exactly what I was after. The price is great, and although there isn’t much to do nearby, you can get around on foot. The owner was friendly and kind the whole time. They don’t supply pillows, but you can rent one for an extra 5 reais.
The house is cozy, attractive, and close to the beaches and rua guarani. The hosts are helpful and always take care of what you need. I was planning to stay for a whole month but had to cut that short for personal reasons. It was the best hostel experience I could have had. I recommend it!
The hosts are so kind and easy to talk to, and you’ll be in great company here. This was my first time in Ubatuba and my first hostel in the region, and it really felt like we connected, haha. If this is your first hostel stay, I highly recommend this place. I’ll come back whenever I can.
Basic upkeep seems to slip when the hosts aren’t there. Some lights wouldn’t turn on, and some outlets had no power. There also seems to be a recurring shortage of toilet paper in the bathrooms.
It was my first hostel stay, and I loved it. The place was quiet, clean, and had an equipped kitchen. The other guests during our visit were polite too. I came with my parents, and we booked a room just for the three of us. They already want to come back, and I’d recommend it. Solange was very polite, and the location is close to the center, aquarium, little market stalls, and waterfront.
