We explored the northern side of Ubatuba, visiting Sapê, Maranduba, and Lagoinha beaches, and we’re sure to come back. The chalets are cute and cozy, and the one we rented through airbnb looked like the photos. The view and setup matched the listing. We stayed with family for a weekend in April. The balcony was a lovely place to spend time, and I even worked from there while enjoying the view and clearing my head. We also used the large, pleasant pool. We didn’t use the barbecue or parking, though both are available, and we saw the outdoor area for small children. There are shops nearby, including a market, pharmacy, and places to eat. Some things seemed expensive, so I cooked for the family in the chalet to save money. We still enjoyed some ice pops and shared an order of churros with the teenagers.
