Paramar Ubatuba

I went during the holiday season and spent New Year’s there. I was told ahead of time to bring all the utensils, which was fine. Our third-floor room had a balcony and was very clean, the TV worked, and the bed and pillows were good. The bathroom was okay, though the shower didn’t get very hot, and that didn’t bother me. The pool was clean. I didn’t use the game room, but the pool table and foosball table weren’t new and were still perfectly usable. There were plenty of parking spaces. I recommend it and would stay again.

The place used to be better. The fans are broken, the rooms get terribly stuffy, the pool is often dirty, and the current pool attendant doesn’t seem to know how to clean it properly. The fridge also isn’t working right and leaks a lot of water. It’s a nice, safe place for families and well located, but the service doesn’t match the price. They need to maintain things better.

The location is excellent, and the staff were attentive and professional. We got an appealing deal, about R$ 1,000,00 less than other accommodation, even though it was the end of the year and we booked at the last minute. I could see the place has potential, but it seemed like more cleaning staff were needed. If you’re used to traditional hotels or pousadas, keep in mind this stay is just accommodation, with no daily service or basics such as detergent and toilet paper. The room had a minibar, microwave, basic utensils, ceiling fan, and TV. There was no bedding, air conditioning, or breakfast. The corridors and staircases also needed better maintenance and cleaning. I didn’t use the pool, so I can’t comment on it.

We really enjoyed our stay! The reception treated us very well, especially CAMILA, who was a great professional. Our room was excellent, with a microwave, cutlery, plates, minibar, and TV. You need to bring your own bed covering, and if you want to make coffee, bring a coffee filter. There’s no stove. The service was perfect. There’s a large parking area with a locked garage and 24-hour security. It’s near downtown, shops, and Praia Grande, about 1km away and close enough to walk. We liked it a lot!
