The breakfast could almost stand on its own as a feast, and the service from Leonardo and Bruna was exceptionally good. The location is great, right in downtown Ubatuba, within walking distance of good restaurants and a 15-minute drive from the best beaches.

The hospitality was fantastic, and I felt welcome and at home the whole time, even though I wasn't the easiest guest after exploring Ubatuba's nightlife. It was a unique, magical way to get a real taste of Brazil, with a great location. I'm so grateful for the experience and can't wait to come back. Highly recommend!

Everything else at the hotel was satisfactory, but the internet problem was a big deal for me. I paid for a room with internet because I needed to work online in the evenings. It didn't work in my room, room 25, though it did work on the ground floor. That caused a fair amount of inconvenience and cost me some business. I raised it with the staff and even showed one of them the issue, but they first denied there was a problem and then refused any compensation.

I've stayed here about three times now. It's a simple, very comfortable hotel, with large clean rooms and delicious Brazilian breakfast. The beach and town center are both close, which is perfect for watching the New Year fireworks. Parking is free and gated, so the car feels safe. There's no pool, but with the beach right there, who needs one? The family who owns the hotel runs it, and that makes the personal connection with guests really nice.

It's not fancy, but it's pleasant and attractive, and it had what I needed. The people were nice, the price was fair, and the room came with buffet breakfast, air conditioning, a fan, and a good clean bed.
