The reception was fantastic, and everything was very clean and organized. I came with my 8-year-old son and my mother. The hostel has a bar for guests with drinks and snacks for both kids and adults, and every morning they sell delicious cake for 2 reais a slice. On some nights there’s also a gourmet sandwich. The owners are friendly and welcoming, and gave us tips on outings and routes to avoid traffic. The hostel also serves açaí to the public during the day, and parking is available after 10 at night. It’s a friendly place to meet people and very close to Praia do Perequê Açu, which is calm enough to visit with children. I’ll be back to check out the forró on Mondays!

Douglas made us feel very welcome and was always checking that we were doing well. The place is cozy, wonderfully organized, and has a great atmosphere. On Mondays you can catch the best forró in Ubatuba. It’s well worth a visit.

The hostel has everything a tourist needs, with incredible service and such personal attention that you feel like a friend, not just a guest. I’m grateful to Douglas and Adriana for the wonderful week I spent there. I’ll be back soon with the whole family to explore and enjoy it!

The forró is on Mondays, but the music, musicians, and venue are first-rate. Best Monday outing. It’s a beautiful, well-kept, cozy place with lovely paintings.
