Pousada Canto Da Vermelhinha

The rooms and facilities were super clean, and the hostesses were lovely. It has a nice vibe, with easy access to the beaches and the town centre. A little jewel tucked away in the middle of paradise, highly recommend!

A simple, really lovely Airbnb tucked away in the woods. A little corner of real peace!

The hostess was very friendly and helpful, and the kitchen utensils, floor, grill, refrigerator, and basic stove were all spotless. The beach near the pousada is good for surfers, with strong waves. Still, Canto da Vermelhinha is only okay overall. The room smelled so strongly of mold that we had to sleep in the kitchen. There are lots of biting insects, so I'd suggest bringing repellent. The stairs are steep, with no access for people with physical disabilities, and you need to be in good shape to climb them. The dirt road to the pousada has lots of potholes.

Waking up to a beautiful sunrise and the sound of the sea made this a lovely place to relax. The chalet was spotless and organized, and had almost all the kitchen utensils you'd need. The owner was very friendly. It was my first stay here, but definitely won't be my last. I loved it!
