The people at Casarão Prumirim made the biggest impression on me. Marin, Eliza, and Danielzinho treated us with so much care and made us feel at home. I've stayed at several places and visited many beaches in Ubatuba, but none pleased me as much as this one. The setting is also wonderful, tucked among the Atlantic Forest, with birds, fresh forest air, and a relaxing stream running beside the property. The rustic decor is charming, the rooms are spacious and have two bathrooms, and there's a pool, sauna, and delicious breakfast. All of that made our stay feel restful and like being in paradise. My thanks to the owners and staff, Marin, Eliza, and Danielzinho. I'll definitely be back!

The setting is close to several clean beaches, and it's about 30 minutes from Paraty-RJ, which gave us a chance to see the historic town. At Pousada Casarão Prumirim, the rooms are roomy, with comfortable mattresses, LCD TVs, minibars, and fans. Some have a whirlpool bath and another has an ofurô. The pool is clean and uses spring water, and there's a sauna too. Breakfast was delicious, especially the cake and coffee made on a wood-burning stove, plus there were different breads and juices. The service is wonderful, and they also offer boat trips and a transfer from Ubatuba bus station. I recommend it.

A lovely family place with comfort and peace, surrounded by nature and with beautiful facilities. The location is excellent, the breakfast is wonderful, and everyone was fantastic with us. Daniel, who is around there too, is so friendly and always ready to help. I definitely recommend this as a family-style stay in Ubatuba.

It's beautiful, and there are beaches nearby, though you'll need a car to get to them. The total cost can get VERY high, so be prepared for everything to be on your tab. For that price, I think someone should come early to tidy the house and at least serve a proper breakfast. Bring insect repellent or you'll get eaten alive by mosquitoes. I do recommend it, just go in knowing these things and that the final bill gets VERY expensive.

We really enjoyed this cozy, family-friendly inn and would recommend it. The one snag was the shower heating system. The showers use a boiler, and it broke during our stay. The people in charge said they plan to switch it to electric soon. That's why I'm holding back one star, but we still had a lovely time.
