We paid R$ 466.67 per night for two people as part of a six-night package, because the photos looked fine and we were told the beach was 30 meters away. As soon as we got to our room, it was obvious how dirty, old, and poorly maintained it was. The pictures on the site and Instagram, and what they sent on WhatsApp when we booked, did not match what we found at all. We asked for a refund after the first night so we could leave, but Vinícius refused. He said our room was an isolated issue and that the room in the pictures had been renovated, even though we had asked which room we’d get and were told they were all standard. He wouldn’t refund us or issue the receipt we requested, but offered us a “better” room upstairs. We posted pictures of that one too. The bathroom was so dirty we bought Cloro Tira Limo and scrubbed the shower stall ourselves. We had to wash the bathroom twice before we could shower, borrowing a broom from reception. The receptionist said we could scrub hard with it because it was the one they used outside, without any embarrassment. Black sludge kept running from the grout. The shelves and dusty doors were dirty too. The room’s rusty mini-fridge was in bad shape, and the blanket smelled moldy. The sheet only covered the top of the mattress. There was a door out to a little yard with a low wall and no lock. We asked for a key so we could sleep safely, and were told the neighboring house was empty. There’s no security at all. After 9 p.m. there’s nobody from the inn around, and the reception door is shut. On the third day the power went out, leaving us in the dark without a fan, air conditioning, hot shower, or generator. They closed reception and left. The 30 meters to the beach smell like sewage, with a lot of trash along the way. The parking spaces are too small for the cars, and the internet and TV kept cutting out. Breakfast was meager too, with stale bread, old dry cake, and cold cuts left out in the heat with a fan pointed at the food. This was the worst experience of my life, like a horror movie.

I couldn’t stay at the inn because of a serious health issue in my family, but I wanted to thank Vinícius for how he handled things. He was attentive, kind, and sensitive during a difficult time, and came up with a quick, thoughtful solution. His professionalism and empathy really made a difference.

The staff were very welcoming, and the location is really convenient. My only complaint was the mattress, which had two dips in it. Everything else was very good.
