The location is excellent, and the pool and outdoor areas are nice. The dorm rooms feel cramped, though, and there are only two showers shared by lots of people. We accidentally broke an oven tray, and the owner handled it in a pretty spineless way. Instead of speaking to us directly, he or she passed the story through several people and charged us much more than the tray was worth. I enjoyed our stay, all in all, but it didn't feel like a five-star experience.

We had a comfortable private room with a full-sized bed, warm showers, and a hammock in the room, which was a nice touch. This beach hotel/hostel also has a big shared area, kitchen, pool, and free parking. It's about a five-minute walk from most restaurants in Itamambuca. The staff were friendly and made the place feel communal. I'd stay again.

The place felt safe enough that I was comfortable locking up only my most important things, and the six-bed dorm was clean, with small lockers just outside the entrance. What made my time unforgettable was the community feel and the new way of life I got to experience: spontaneous concerts from the volunteers who lived there, midnight beach visits with the marthi-family, and hanging out in the garden or veranda with reggae and small talk.

It felt like home because everyone was so nice and the place was really clean. I loved the big kitchen, where you can use all the furniture 👏🏽👏🏽
