The rooms are clean and nice, and the air conditioning works well. Breakfast is okay. There’s no private parking, but finding a spot on the street is easy enough, though weekends can be tough. If you’re after a cheap place downtown, I’d recommend it.

The wifi was the downside, very slow and unreliable. The rooms were clean, the service was nice, and breakfast was good.

It’s a simple pousada, but they need to be more professional. The room cleaning was poor, and breakfast was very disappointing. On my last morning, I left after 7 a.m. and an employee told me she’d only just arrived, so all she had was boxed chocolate milk. When I checked in, I’d been told breakfast ran from 7 to 10 a.m. 😕

We couldn’t open the wooden window shutters in our room because people would be able to see inside, so the air conditioning helped. The pousada itself is charming, an old mansion that’s been very well maintained. Breakfast is simple, but tasty and generously served.

The location is great, but there’s no parking, and the street fills up at night because of the restaurants there. If you arrive by car after 6 p.m., you’ll end up parking far away. The service was good, the rooms simple, and breakfast was fine, but the R$ 380,00 nightly rate is far too high for what you get.
