We spent New Year's here and wanted to leave a positive comment about Saruê Surf Lodge, in Itamambuca. It's easy to get to, right in the village of Itamambuca. We came by car with two bicycles, and there was room to park everything. The outdoor area was nice, and we met some really great guests there. Our room had two ceiling fans, a bathroom, a kitchen, a dining table, and basic utensils. The person who welcomed us was very polite and helpful. We asked about bringing an extra 110v fan, and before we arrived, the person in charge installed a power outlet just for us. The facilities are simple but work really well if you're not fussy. Looking for a standard Ibis hotel? This isn't the place. But if you want somewhere laid-back, good vibes, and right in paradise, this is it.

Yes, I was mistreated and disrespected! A bunch of rude people with no character! You claimed I was a no-show even though I had notified the platform in advance! I was going to renegotiate a new stay, but after seeing the earlier reviews, thank God this turned out to be a blessing in disguise!

A terrible experience! My daughter and her friends stayed there over New Year's. The room was dirty, with cockroaches and mold, and the shower only gave them a tiny trickle of cold water. When they complained, they were told that's just how the shower was and nothing could be done. After three days of cold showers in the property's outdoor shower, while some guests stared indiscreetly, they asked for a refund. It had rained heavily around then and even got a little chilly. Only when they asked for their money back did the person in charge switch on the pressurizer, and then the shower worked normally. What kind of people are these? Awful!
