The man who served me, tall and thin with a goatee, treated me very badly. As soon as I arrived, he quoted R$ 200,00 for the room. When I asked to see the price list, it showed R$ 170,00. I felt he was trying to take advantage of me because I wasn't from the area and charge more than the listed price, and more than I wanted to pay. I mentioned PROCON, and he became visibly shaken and started trembling. We argued, but in the end he gave in.

I’d come back for Pereque açu beach, which is lovely, calm, and has no current. The room itself is clean and orderly, but looks quite dated. There’s a very small TV, one outlet that’s occupied by the freezer, and a splitter for charging a phone. The bed and mattress are basic, and there’s a fan, but it’s enough to rest before enjoying the beach. The shower has low water pressure, which made washing my long, thick hair difficult. It’s quiet, with a shared kitchen and a microwave. Local shops are available, though they close early and there aren’t many options. For other errands or shopping, you’ll need to drive to the center, which is a bit far.

The host was really kind, and the empanadas they make are delicious. Prumirim beach is very close, with an easy trail to get there.

A clean, cozy inn in a great spot, close to the beach and shops.
