Laid-back Brazilian surfer hospitality, with a cool lounge and a nicely laid-out breakfast. Everything was super clean. Surfing waves and a popular beach scene are a two-minute walk away, while simple restaurants and shops take about four minutes to reach.

It’s a peaceful, airy place with a great feel to it, and about 200 meters from Praia Grande in Ubatuba. César, the owner, is a really nice guy. The prices are very good, and breakfast is simple but tasty: fresh bread, coffee everyone praised, fruit like papaya, banana, pineapple, and melon that the kitchen staff top up between 8 and 10 in the morning, plus cold cuts, juice, whole wheat sliced bread, and cakes. Rooms have fans, and there’s Wi-Fi. Bring your own bedding and towels. I loved the vibe, especially the strong surf spirit and environmental awareness. I’ll be back!

The beds made for a good night’s sleep, and the bathrooms were clean with a hot, strong shower. The location is excellent, right by Praia Grande, and breakfast was simple but really, really good. The owner, Cesar, helped us with everything and suggested places and beaches to visit. He’s super friendly, and he also showed us his surfboard shaping workshop out back. I’d definitely return.

Great location and a really friendly owner. He’s a surfboard shaper too, which is so cool! The pousada has a good surf vibe and a lovely energy. I recommend it to everyone. Big hug, san!!

Great location. There’s no Wi-Fi, and the fridge doesn’t get very cold if you like keeping beer in it. Everything else deserves praise.
