As a foreign visitor, I found the language barrier hard to get past, though the desk clerks made a real effort to communicate. Housekeeping did a great job cleaning my room. My main complaint was that the TV only had Portuguese-language channels, which made for a long stay.

Very polite staff, and the hotel has a cozy retro feel. There’s also a pool and a gym.

The building is old, but everything works, and the hotel is very clean. Good location and felt safe.
