The conversation I had during checkout ended up meaning a lot to me. The receptionist told me about his experience moving back to Brazil after living in London, and since I met my wife there and am now applying for Brazilian citizenship, his honest thoughts on readjusting were a real help. I was born in Brazil, but gave up my nationality during COVID so I could keep working in Taiwan, where I've lived for 20 years. I wish I could remember the receptionist's name, but my 42-year-old mind let me down. Aguinaldo, one of the valet drivers, was also so kind and professional, and the reception team were helpful when I needed a sauna, even suggesting a reasonably priced place in Uberlândia where I could go without an invitation. My main reason for rating the hotel three stars is my current medical need for access to a sauna. The rooms were clean, breakfast was good, simple and average but still enjoyable, and the hotel is in a great location. Check-out was quick, and I appreciated the friendly staff. Gran Executive Hotel gave me a very positive stay, and I'm grateful for the hospitality and that meaningful conversation.

The newer building, pool and gym give it an edge over similarly priced places. The rooms are plain and basic, though, and breakfast doesn't offer much variety.

The bed was comfortable and the room stayed quiet. Staff were great, the rooms were nice, and breakfast was adequate.

Friendly staff, a really good breakfast, and a very good hotel.

The restaurant needs work: service there was chaotic and painfully slow. The other facilities and service were good.
