Hotel Golden Park Uberlândia by Nacional Inn

I appreciated the little personal touches most: Claudia, who I believe is a manager or supervisor, left a welcome note and chocolate. The room was spotless, and even the towels had their wash date on them. That kind of care and organization stood out. There was a brief hiccup at check-in because they couldn't find my reservation until I showed it on my phone, but once we cleared that up, they handled everything professionally. I also liked the large smart TV, which let me connect my own apps and watch Netflix and other platforms. Little comforts like that matter when you're traveling alone. Breakfast starts at 5:00 a.m., which worked well for early mornings. The buffet had great variety and quality, and the reception offered pão de queijo, broa, and coffee during the day. Those classic Brazilian treats can make a lasting impression, especially if you're visiting from abroad. Brazilian coffee really is among the best in the world. The pool was very clean, noticeably better than at another National Inn property I'd stayed at, and the covered parking protects cars from sun, rain, and even hail. I came to Uberlândia alone for medical checkups after being diagnosed with chronic stress, while my wife and daughter are in Taiwan. The city's better structure and options have helped during this period, and staying here added a lot to my comfort and peace of mind. One time I came back hungry later on and was ready to pay again if needed, but at the restaurant I was met with a warm, genuine “good morning.” That human touch made a difference. Of the three other National Inn group hotels I've tried, Araxá was unfortunately the weakest, Dan Inn was very good but had room to improve, and Golden Park Uberlândia was by far the best. This is now my favorite National Inn property. I'm grateful for the thoughtfulness and professionalism here, and would gladly stay again and recommend it.
