We went as a family and loved it. The room was cozy with a beautiful view, and breakfast was wonderful. There were horses, cows, sheep, ducks, and chickens on the property. It was a great experience.

The breakfast they served was delicious. We stayed in the suite and had an incredible experience. The shower was SUPER hot, and between the comfortable bed, warm blankets, and central heating, we barely noticed the 4ºC overnight.

We loved our stay. The rustic industrial style was just right, and everything was impeccable, from the welcome by the owner, who dreamed up and oversaw the construction of the Pousada de Charme, to breakfast. The jams, cheeses, milk, waffles, and everything else were made at the pousada. Congratulations!

The breakfast is worth making time for. It’s prepared with care and uses products made right there. We’ve stayed at Pousada Monte Sião de Château twice now, and my husband and I are grateful to Lu and the whole team. It’s a cozy place, Lu is a wonderful host, and there are animals to see up close along with heaters for colder days. If you need somewhere to recharge, I can recommend it from experience. Grateful for our stays!

We were warmly welcomed by Luciane and loved meeting Luz. The place is peaceful, pretty, and very tidy, with everything super clean. It’s about a 15-minute drive from the town center, which suited us. A lovely spot to rest and enjoy the scenery. We hope to come back.
