Pousada Kaluanã

We were welcomed so warmly at this family-run place. The owner was very helpful, and breakfast was simple but really tasty. I recommend it.

Breakfast was great, homemade, and everything was well organized. The room was clean and comfortable, and the owners' excellent service made us feel right at home. An amazing pousada in Urubici, highly recommended.

The breakfast was very good, and the owner, who lives there, was a kind and helpful older woman. But at R$ 350,00 per night, I don't think the place is worth the price. It's a large house where she rents out four rooms. Ours had no air conditioning and faced the parking area and street, so there was a lot of noise and a barking dog. It was stuffy, but opening the window wasn't an option. The bathroom didn't even have hand soap, just a towel and toilet paper. For that price, there are better places to stay.

This was my second visit. The first time, I stayed in one of the rooms in the main pousada and loved it. The chalet I stayed in this time was still being built in 2022, and it turned out to be a wonderful place in Urubici, Santa Catarina. The chalet feels like a peaceful retreat. It was clean, organized, and welcoming, with thoughtful little touches throughout. The bathtub made it especially cozy, and the electric room heaters and heated bed made a real difference to our night's sleep. We were greeted with so much care and hospitality, and Clara and Jr were always nearby for outing tips or a good chat. Breakfast was another highlight. It was simple, tasty, and lovingly homemade. Clara prepares a good part of the food, which made it feel extra special. We had a comfortable, relaxing stay filled with good energy, and we're already eager to come back. I definitely recommend the pousada to anyone passing through Urubici. ❤️
