Hotel Boneário

Really good.

Breakfast was the one bright spot, simple but enough to get by. The room we were first given had no bathroom hooks, toilet paper holder, soap holder, or trash bag in the bin. The fan was filthy, and the plaster ceiling was cracking. On the third day, rain brought a leak right above the electric shower, so we were moved to another room. That one had a few makeshift hooks, but they were awful. The bathroom was cramped, with the shower almost over the toilet, and bathing soaked the whole room. Both rooms had old, uncomfortable pillows. There are better rooms at the hotel, but they cost a lot more. For what we paid, my wife and I deserved better service. Don’t trust the promotional photos to show what every room looks like. Our experience was terrible.

Breakfast was very basic: bread, eggs, cheese, coffee, and two cakes. They were all limited, some guests missed out, and nothing was replenished. There’s no soap, and the towels looked poorly cleaned. At least the air conditioning works, so it’s enough if all you want is to sleep. For the price, I expected more.

The rooms are good for the price, and the simple breakfast is a real help. The address doesn’t match what’s on boqguing. I recommend the rooms with air conditioning, a hot shower, and a TV.
