We'd been driving for seven hours, then at check-in they couldn't find our booking and made us pay separately for each of the three rooms. I've travelled all over the world, and this was the worst check-in I've ever had. I still can't say anything about the rooms, since I'm sitting in reception half an hour after arriving.
Very good for a three-star hotel.
The location is great for the beach and restaurants, and the free WiFi is fast. The rooms are very clean, breakfast is good, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Reception is open 24 hours. The rooms are a bit small, though, and the lights and hairdryer feel dated. Leave food out and ants may show up, even on the higher floors. Payment was a hassle: they wouldn't take our Banestes or other bank card, credit card, or Pix, so we had to ask a family member to pay through PicPay. They need more payment choices, since people don't carry that much cash and tourists may not have PicPay.
It was peaceful and right by the ocean, so we could head to the beach without changing. Breakfast was good, and the staff were respectful. The trouble was finding the place: the sign was hard to read, and I drove around for 20 minutes. Since I couldn't read Portuguese, I thought the hotel was called “BEM VINDO”; I later learned that means welcome. The actual name is at the top, where I couldn't see it. I stayed six days, and I don't think the sheets were changed once. They need to change them more often.
The room was really comfortable, and both the view and food were great. Service was great too. I'd definitely recommend this hotel.
