Pink Sands Resort

The kind, excellent staff are what we’ll remember most. They took care of us with real warmth, and the location and beach are still divine. But we’ve stayed at Pink Sands several times before, and under the new management the hotel disappointed us. The food has gone downhill, and discovering after booking that the hotel now hosts SPRING BREAKERS was a deal breaker. The blasting music at the bar and beach from 1-5 every day was a nightmare. There was also a lot of noisy construction for cottages and houses. The steps and walkways are difficult, or impossible, for anyone with mobility issues, including pain or recovery from surgery. There were no handrails at the entrance or restaurant, and no anti-slip features or grab bars in the shower. Despite the five-star prices, this no longer feels like a five-star experience.

Lunch at Pink Sands this weekend was a treat: unbelievable views, delicious food and drinks, and such friendly, welcoming staff. It was our first visit to Harbour Island, and we’ll be back. Rel went out of his way to welcome us to the island and hotel and make sure we were looked after. The hospitality and views have us planning a family trip soon.

The location is hard to beat, on one of the most beautiful stretches of beach, with a pool to match. The food and the pina coladas were fantastic, and the staff made our stay feel magical. Big thanks to managers Deeandree and Raju, Katrina, Chef Carlos, Armani, Keno, and Yaz. As southerners, we really appreciated how well they understood hospitality. One of the best resorts on harbor island.

The soft, pink-hued sand and turquoise-blue water looked like a painting, and the whole place was beautiful against its natural surroundings. The service was warm and thoughtful, with every detail taken care of. We loved the slow rhythm of morning beach walks and lazy afternoons by the water. Pink Sands Resort was a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy nature. We can’t wait to return.
