Hoopers Bay Villas

We had a wonderful week in the “yellow” cottage, and I stayed there with my two teenage daughters. The recent review by Polly is unfortunate and sounds a little exaggerated. The villas were clean, comfortable, and met all our needs. William and Pricilla were very gracious. William was easy to reach for rides, cut fresh coconuts for us to drink, and lent us bikes to explore nearby. The beach was a hassle-free two-minute walk away, and about 90% of the time we had the beautiful stretch to ourselves. We could use the kayaks, and a family of sea turtles lived by the pier. The AC wasn't a problem for us. There was a unit in each room and the front room, though one bedroom's unit didn't work. Two fans in that room helped, and it was never an issue at night. The working units kept the house cool, never hot or humid. Wi-Fi was very slow and could use an update, but we came to relax and enjoy the island, away from that kind of thing. If you're looking for ten-star accommodations, I'd suggest booking with Sandals and paying ten times as much. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
