The staff, especially the kitchen team, made a real effort to accommodate us as kosher travelers. They listened to what we needed and helped in every way they could, which made our vacation unforgettable. The whole property is stunning and carefully maintained, and everyone we met was warm and helpful. We loved taking the golf carts down to the crystal-clear beach, and the water coolers were a thoughtful way to keep our drinks cold. French Leave Resort was spectacular. Can't wait to return!

Keith was a helpful server and knew the island well. We had a lovely meal here, and the pizza was great. Such a nice spot!

We just finished six nights in an ocean-front villa and would gladly return. The private beach was quiet and secluded, and we often had it to ourselves. We spent plenty of time paddleboarding and snorkeling. Each villa had its own buggy/cart for getting around. Staff were incredible and very accommodating. After I was bitten by no-see-ums, the team gave me cream or ointment to help. Restaurant 1648 was good, and a special shout-out to Kelly and Keith there. The gym was okay for a Bahamian gym. The one letdown was the beach furniture, which wasn't in the condition I'd expect from a hotel like this. A little beach shack serving drinks would be a welcome extra service.

We loved this place. The villas were roomy and clean, and the staff were attentive and very helpful. When our golf cart had a problem on the way to the beach, they brought a replacement within five minutes. The hotel also has an excellent restaurant on site. The beach is on the island's other side, but driving there by cart is a fun adventure, and having it all to yourself makes the trip worthwhile.
