The beach is gorgeous, and the location is easily the best thing here. There were plenty of places to sit, too. Just be wary of people trying to sell rides and other things. I also loved the fresh crab salad by the pool, and the Mexican restaurant served a nice meal. The buffet was hit or miss, and the restaurant booking system kept showing everything as full even when the front desk or restaurant said there was room. My daughter and I enjoyed our vacation, but nothing here is special enough to bring us back. The room wasn’t very clean or comfortable. Daily service brought fresh towels but left the old ones behind, and they didn’t clean the shower. They made the bed, unless my organized daughter had already done it herself, in which case they left it alone. I left good tips and didn’t see a difference. Drinks were okay, but I didn’t enjoy talking with the bartenders. The entertainment staff were the most personable and tried to make things fun, though they got distracted having fun with each other. The shows had a nice stage, sound system, and costumes, but there was more walking around than dancing. The dancers and lip singers could use a lot more practice. The main MC was fun, though, and his own shows were very good. Service could be warmer. Guests have paid a good amount to be there on vacation, and a simple good morning when you pass by is the least you’d expect. I’m not sure why that was missing, but management may need to keep staff happy so they can serve guests better.

The nightly shows were a highlight, especially with Daddy Cool✨ hosting and giving every performer their due at the end. Amber✨ was a great trivia partner and seemed like an important part of the Viva team. We also found lots of cute things for family and friends at the shop. Bernise✨ welcomed us each time we visited, helped reach items, and patiently let us decide. Sham’s presentation was personable and kind, with no pressure. I took my mother for her first tropical and all-inclusive vacation, and we stayed six nights. We won the trip through a random entry box at the mall, though travel and fees still cost a decent amount, so it wasn’t free. From our first interactions, we felt we’d enjoy our stay. Alice✨ at the desk was kind and professional, and Kirklyn✨ took our bags to the room and was absolutely wonderful. At the beach bar, Patrick✨ made us a great drink, just ask him for the panty dropper 😉, and always had good conversation. The beach was gorgeous and well cared for, the room AC worked great, and the cleaning crew was polite and courteous. The food was decent, the shows were fun, and the people were wonderful. The lobby was welcoming and looked nice. Don’t let the bad reviews sway you. For the price and value, this property is just right. Expecting a five-star resort will leave you disappointed, but for a three-star place, it’s EXCELLENT. There were lots of families, so if you’re a couple looking for a classier getaway, this may not be for you. For my mom’s first tropical vacation, we couldn’t have had a better experience. Thanks to the whole staff for making it great. I’ll definitely come back with my husband and daughter.

I’ve been here twice, and the beach is beautiful. The staff are amazing. Marco worked hard all week cleaning up, though I’m not sure where the rest of the cleaning crew was. Fredricko was an amazing bartender who went above and beyond, and Carlos and Roberto were great with activities and evening entertainment. A few things could use attention before my next visit. There was only one bottle of water per person for the week, refills were sometimes unavailable, and one evening there was no water at all. Breakfast doesn’t start until 7am, even if you’re leaving early. The internet was adequate at best, kept cutting out all week, and didn’t work at all on departure day. Smoking needs clearer rules. People smoked just outside the lobby, and second-hand smoke kept coming in through open doors and windows. Cigarette butts were all over the grounds, including in patio furniture. There should be designated smoking areas, with staff sweeping up and enforcing the rules. The main buffet had lots of choices, but food was room temperature at best, and the microwave and toasters kept breaking. Entertainment at 9:30pm and the 11:30pm disco were too late. Activities should move somewhere else and still happen when the weather’s bad. The disco would be a good place for them. Half the resort was French-speaking and couldn’t communicate with staff, so my boyfriend had to translate for them. Having at least one French-speaking staff member on duty all the time would help. Thanks for considering these suggestions. I’ll come back, but some of these issues need to be resolved or at least addressed.

The beach is gorgeous, and we went snorkeling nearly every day, spotting some neat marine life. Drinks were fantastic, and it’s only about 15 minutes from the airport. There’s a kids’ pool beside the main one, plus a snack bar with hamburgers, hot dogs, and fries that picky kids will like. Pizza was usually available at the buffet, too. We were a family of three, two adults and a toddler, and had a good time. It’s a budget-friendly way to see the Bahamas, especially if you’re not fussy about rooms or food. This is just an honest take on the amenities and what to expect, about 3.5 stars. The rooms are dated, and there’s a shower stall instead of a bathtub, so keep that in mind with young children. Cribs and pack and plays are available. The AC is extremely loud, and many rooms face outside, so they can be noisy. Ours faced a wedding venue and was extremely loud one night until around midnight. Food quality varied, from good to just okay. Wifi was hit or miss and went out for a whole day.
