Goldwynn Resort & Residences

Dinner at OIA was a highlight, with genuinely great food, fresh flavors, and a pretty setting. We also loved the wonderful spa and clean, well-equipped gym. Every part of Goldwynn Resort & Residences felt spotless and thoughtfully maintained. The pool was beautiful and peaceful, with lovely ocean views and easy beach access. The whole place feels calm and welcoming, from the decor to the views, and the staff were kind, upbeat, and ready to help. We left feeling completely rested. It's a comfortable boutique-style stay with great amenities.

The rooms and suites are modern and tastefully decorated, with views of the ocean or golf course. Goldwynn's rooms are truly right on the ocean, with only the pool between you and the turquoise water. We liked that the resort was less crowded and more relaxing than the Baha Mar properties up the beach. The heated infinity pool is beautiful and never crowded. There are enough beach chairs, but not enough umbrellas to go around, so get one early or you may wait until afternoon. Ask for a cushion for the beach loungers, too. We found them hard and didn't realize cushions were available until we saw another guest ask, and only found out on our last day. I don't know why guests aren't told. The food and service at the beach and pool bar and Oia restaurant were excellent. Prices are high, but no worse than at comparable luxury resorts. I wanted to give the resort five stars, but these small things kept me from it. We still hope to return next year.

We spent four days at the hotel as a couple, and the stay was amazing, beyond what we expected. The heated pool, the view, and the beach were all clean, inviting, and well maintained. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the hotel's design is beautiful, with care put into the little details. It feels luxurious but still pleasant. The food at the restaurant was excellent throughout the day and worth every dollar. Staff were friendly and kind, and the management team was always around to make sure everything ran smoothly and guests were looked after. We highly recommend it!

We chose Goldwin Resort Bahamas for its beautiful, peaceful setting, which seemed just right for families, and the atmosphere and surroundings were wonderful. We truly enjoyed our stay. If direct booking with better rates or returning guest discounts is available, we'd love to come back every year. We'd definitely visit again and recommend it to families looking for a quiet, enjoyable vacation.
