The pool area was lovely, with drinks and some snacks available at other times, though breakfast was the only proper meal served. Breakfast itself was good, but the choices were limited. We also tried a few restaurants within walking distance. We stayed one night at the start of our holiday and another at the end. Our first room was huge, with a very comfortable bed and working air conditioning. There was a large bath with a shower curtain, but the shower pressure was weak. It had a fridge and microwave, but no tea or coffee setup. The fridge was so noisy we unplugged it, and bottled water cost $3, with none provided free. The second room was much smaller, but had the same basic amenities and a balcony with comfortable chairs. It did have complimentary coffee facilities, but we would have had to get them from the front desk, so we didn't bother. The property itself is stunning, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. For what we paid, though, I expected a few more things. It's fairly close to the airport, but Nassau is a good 30-minute taxi ride away, at $45 each way. It wasn't a bad stay, and a couple of small changes could make it much better. I'd stay again, though I'm unlikely to travel to Nassau again.

We booked in January for March 21 and 29, while passing through Nassau on the way to and from Eleuthera. Three days before arrival, we got the usual message saying they looked forward to welcoming us. But after a 16-hour trip from Western Canada, the hotel had no record of our booking and turned us away. It felt like a scam to cash in on high Spring Break rates. Stay away, your reservation is NOT guaranteed!

Looking for somewhere quiet and private? This hotel is a hidden gem in Nassau. The staff were very accommodating, and the pool and patio are great. There's a private gated drive and beautiful grounds.

The property was well kept, quiet, and felt safe. My room, Ruby, was clean and much bigger than it looked in the hotel's website photos. It was on the third floor and had a fridge and microwave. I also had my own reusable bottle, and the front desk refilled it with water for free when I asked. The hotel is less than 10 minutes from the airport. Staff were pleasant. Getting around was the biggest drawback. The hotel sits on the western side of Nassau, about a 30-minute drive from downtown, and I felt isolated there. The surrounding area isn't walkable and has few food choices. Some taxi drivers wouldn't take me back from downtown because it was too far or they didn't know where the hotel was. A shuttle to several places, including the main airport, is available for a fee, but it was unreliable. Usually there was one person at the desk, who also seemed to be the breakfast chef and shuttle driver, so availability varied. The hotel offered other taxi options when that happened. The property is at the top of a steep gated hill. Walking down is easy, but getting back up is a hard climb. There are stairs and no elevator, so keep luggage in mind. Breakfast is available but costs extra. The walls are thin, and I could hear hallway activity even when people weren't loud, though it didn't disturb my sleep. I'd suggest it if you're comfortable spending a lot on taxis and managing the hill. It's not ideal for visitors who don't or can't drive and want to walk to dining and recreation. For that, I'd choose somewhere in downtown Nassau.

My boyfriend and I spent a long weekend here, and this small hotel changed how I think about big chain places. I’ll look for places like it first now. The staff were so pleasant, the breakfast was amazing, and it was clean and away from downtown's noise and bustle. I couldn't find one bad thing to say. Sunset, the restaurant at the bottom of the hotel, was really good too, and I'd give it five stars. The hill up to the hotel is a bit of a climb on foot. I didn't mind too much, since it helped work off all the delicious food. Definitely 10 out of 10.
