The atmosphere made me feel at home as soon as I arrived at Planet Lodge. It really felt like a home away from home, with a great environment. The staff were friendly and accommodating the whole time. Thanks, and well done. I’ll definitely book again on my next return trip to Gaborone.

Staying here is quite an experience, and the price is very reasonable. The rooms are roomy and very clean, but some details, like the bathroom shelves, aren’t put together very well. The decor is over the top and odd, though the place always feels lively. The layout is unusual too, almost like an old manor house turned into a hotel.

A lovely, very tidy place to stay.

I won’t stay here again. The bathroom light was out, and when I reported it, nobody responded. After a long day I just wanted a good night’s sleep, but staff were making so much noise that it was impossible. I got up and asked them to quiet down after 23:00, but they didn’t.

There was no water when I arrived, and they had to fix that first. The TV then kept cutting out, with only five channels available. Breakfast is never on time either, and there are always excuses for the delays. That’s a problem even when you have an early appointment.
