The Ultimate Escape - Gaborone

We had a great family apartment for our Gaborone visit. There are two bedrooms, and one has a balcony with views toward Gaborone dam on one side and kgale hill on the other. It's near Game City Mall and the route to the Airport is easy.

I got there with my daughter and our big bags, but nobody was there to let us in. I booked through Agoda in July and received a confirmation email. When I called the number on the booking, they said they had no reservation for me and that someone else had booked the apartment. I'm pretty sure they received an email notification from Agoda, so why list it on different platforms without checking for overlapping bookings? I won't recommend staying here. I also hadn't been told the apartment is on the top floor, so there are lots of stairs to climb. With big suitcases, carrying everything up was no fun. I paid for a cab to get there and won't get that money back. I should've expected trouble when I hadn't received any check-in instructions that morning.

The place was really clean and nicely styled, with excellent amenities. We arrived very late, and the host was friendly, helpful, and understanding. 10/10.

It was a lovely, refreshing experience. The place was clean and beautiful, conveniently close to lots of grocery stores.
