The food was pretty rough, and I definitely got sick from the food or water. I stayed for three nights in the dry season and wouldn't recommend it. Apart from seeing meerkats one morning and a bunch of wildebeest, there was nothing to see. If you basically don't want to see any wildlife, this is the place. Our guide was pretty bad too. He found no animals and joked, “look a dragonfly,” when a helicopter went by. There'd also been lots of guide turnover, probably because there's no wildlife. Unless you're obsessed with meerkats, don't waste your time. There are lots of much better camps in the Okovango Delta in Botswana.

The camp staff were earnest and incredibly nice, and Jack's camp is absolutely stunning. Parts of it did feel like they were made for the Instagram crowd, like the meerkats and comically large tents. It's a bit over the top and was overpriced compared with other camps, so that's why I'm giving it four stars.
