We turned up with no reservation, but the staff made room for us. The room was spacious and very tidy, and the price felt fair. I'd happily stay there again.

I really enjoyed the food, especially the wonderful malva pudding, so don't skip it. The guest house sits in a quiet, unassuming residential area, and the comfortable rooms work well for remote work thanks to good WiFi. The menu suits Anglo-Saxon and South African tastes. There's no mustard with the steak, though they do have several hot sauces and chutney.

It's a great stop for tourists, and the staff are friendly, with good food too. The rooms are neat and have aircon, a shower and a bath, plus double-ply toilet paper. Parking is behind a secure gate, although the breakfast and dinner hours aren't convenient if you're working on the mine, so I'd avoid Meyers for a work trip.

The food was outstanding, and the room, bar and restaurant were all in immaculate condition. We had a wonderful stay and received excellent service. Thanks, we'll definitely come back on our next trip to Botswana.
