The property has a nice setting, plenty of wildlife nearby and lots of potential, but our stay felt strange. When we arrived, things seemed to be on pause and no meals were being served. We were told we could use the kitchen, but when other guests arrived, they apparently got dinner and an extensive breakfast. After some asking, we got a simple breakfast too, though there was no coffee or tea. The air conditioning struggled to cool the room, and the pool wasn't very clean. I hope the business gets going and runs more smoothly.

From the open lounge and bar, you look out over a nice pool, a must in this part of the world. The lodge is very neat and the owners are so friendly. It's also well placed for exploring the many things to do in the Chobe area. With a 4x4, you can take the road behind the lodge and see wildlife in the open. Night drives are possible too, and we saw a leopard two days ago. Bring a torch.

Lesoma village is a lovely place for anyone who enjoys adventure and nature. It sits near the border between Botswana and Zimbabwe, roughly 90 km from Victoria Falls and 20 km from the Chobe River and Chobe National Park. The Chobe is home to the Big Five, including lions, elephants and buffalo, and borders Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Lesoma Valley is a gateway to these wildlife attractions and natural areas.

It's peaceful and relaxing, and you can cool off in the pool when the weather's hot. If you're looking for a good place at a very affordable price, this is it.
