The food was the best I had in Maun, with healthy choices, and everything at the hotel was impeccably clean. Staff were attentive and quick to answer questions or help with requests. The pool was a nice way to take a break, and the peaceful setting made it easy to sleep well and get work done. Laha Hotel went beyond what I expected and was just right for a quiet, productive stay in Maun.

This was our worst experience in Botswana. The room wasn't properly cleaned when we arrived, and after we returned from a day trip at around 16.00 the next day, it still hadn't been done. Staff called to ask if it was okay not to clean it. There were lots of employees sitting around on their phones, but nobody seemed to be doing the work. Avoid this place at all cost.

The parking felt really safe and was very nice. The staff were friendly and helpful, too. It's away from the busy main roads but still close to the action, making it a good place to stay for a day or two in town.
