There’s just one way down to the lake, and several houses sit close together around it. That means the sports area and gazebos are close to each other too, which won’t suit everyone. The photos on belkraj.by hide a lot of those details, so they don’t really match what it’s like on site.

The beds and pillows weren’t comfortable, and two of the four upstairs bedrooms were very cold. The water was cloudy and sandy, so we needed bottled water for cooking and brushing our teeth. The banya costs extra and is expensive. The steam room was okay, but the basins looked ridiculous beside a modern sauna, especially with running water. If they were aiming for an authentic banya, it should have been smoky. On the plus side, the setting is beautiful and quiet, and the house has a fireplace, gazebo, and firewood. There’s a well-equipped playground, volleyball court, and soccer field too. Overall, it felt like decent value.
